The song “girl on fire” by Alicia Keys is so powerful. It’s a song about letting go of whatever is holding you back, and allowing yourself to take control of your life and who you are. Finding your light, and your passion, and living the life you want. Overcoming the struggles that you’re living with, even when it feels like your world is on fire.

It was a no brainer for me to name my business after this song. Beauty is a way for me to take control of something, even when I feel like I’m constantly at war with my body as a result of my chronic pain.

I want to feel beautiful and I want to help others feel that way too.

I chose to take the leap and do something that I love and I’m passionate about, so ultimately: this girl is on fire.
